Before anything else: I'm not an AI and you guys have to trust me about it, don't want to go into that
My company (and some friend's companies as well) has adopted a new work model where no one is a software engineer anymore; coders, product managers, designers are all called "Product Engineers" now
Basically everyone is responsible for the while product lifecycle, from requirement to deployment. Everyone should use AI for coding and no team owns a single service anymore
The only remaining squads are the ones handling core stuff such as infrastructure and monitoring
Also, we don't have kanban or scrum anymore. We all work on missions - short-term company objectives
Anyone have been working on the same model? How has it been?
I feel like this is a trend right now....
