The baseball world lost a radio icon on Monday when WFAN Sports Radio announced that legendary Yankees broadcaster John Sterling had passed away at the age of 87 . Sterling was the voice of a generation of Yankees fans, making unforgettable calls for parts of 36 seasons that will be ingrained in fans' minds forever.
