Clive Davis, founder of Arista Records and J Records, was admitted to the hospital this week for an upper respiratory infection. According to TMZ , the legendary music executive, who oversaw the early careers of Whitney Houston , Alicia Keys , Bruce Springsteen and more, was admitted to a hospital in New York on Friday evening (May 29). A rep for the 94-year-old said the music executive would be released within 24 hours. In 2021, Davis was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a neurological condition that causes temporary facial paralysis. The diagnosis led to a postponement of the second half of Davis' annual pre-Grammys bash, which is among the most coveted events of music’s biggest night. According to Page Six , at the time of Davis’ diagnosis, the music mogul was being treated with antibiotics and steroids and was expected to recover in no more than 8 weeks.
