Alexandra Drewchin, the New York artist and sound-sculptor who records as Eartheater, is an ambitious solo artist, and she's also a versatile collaborator. In the time since she released her last album, 2023's Powders , Eartheater covered System Of A Down and worked with artists like FKA twigs , Shygirl , and John Glacier . She also had a baby, which is kind of the ultimate artistic collaboration, and that experience informed her work on her upcoming LP Heavenly Body: If I'm The Bottle You're The Message . Eartheater started recording Heavenly Body three months after the birth of her daughter Nova, now ten months old. The album explores the feelings of pregnancy and motherhood. Eartheater co-produced almost every track with TV On The Radio's David Andrew Sitek — all except closing track "Nova," which she co-produced with Nosaj Thing and Donnie Darko film-score composer Michael Andrews.…
