Florida, USA. Hello everyone, I had a quick question/concern. We are getting our roof replaced due to age on our 1000sqft home. The roofer is a reputable company but we did not discuss anything other than the ridge vent which is existing. A few things to note: 1. We do not have any soffit. 2. It is a gable roof with gable vents on each side of the house. 3. We do not have very good insulation at the moment but it is being completely replaced with R30 upon getting the roof replaced. I currently have an attic fan installed at one of the gable vents. It has helped to keep the attic cool but we are still getting high humidity levels inside the attic. To be quite frank, it does not appear there has been any moisture build up as I did a thorough check inside the attic. Humidity levels as I type this are 71% at 80.3F. Mind you I’m typing this at 5:31am and no sun. Been in Florida my whole life so humidity is always a pain. My question: Is there any concerns with the ventilation?…
