Prime Video has released a teaser trailer for “ Elle ,” the prequel series to Reese Witherspoon’s comedy “ Legally Blonde .” “Elle” will give fans a glimpse into the life of a high school-aged Elle Woods when Season 1 releases on the streamer July 1. It has already been renewed for Season 2. Watch the teaser below. Popular on Variety Per the official logline, the series “follows Elle Woods in high school as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first ‘Legally Blonde’ film.” Lexi Minetree makes her leading role debut as Woods, having previously had small roles in projects including “Law & Order: SVU,” “The Murdaugh Murders,” “Crowdsource Murder” and “The Paramedic Who Stalked Me.” June Diane Raphael will play her mother, while Tom Everett Scott will play her father.  Chloe Wepper, David Burtka, Brad Harder, Kayla Maisonet and Lisa Yamada will all appear as recurring guest stars.…
