With  Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,  Insomniac Games introduced a new version of Venom . The symbiote was defeated, but it seemed likely for the studio to bring the antihero back . Now it seems it wasn’t just likely, it was part of the endgame before real life scuttled those plans. In a recent Love It Film episode, Miles Morales voice actor Nadji Jeter told the hosts that Insomniac was working on a Venom solo project. According to him, the main reason for it not existing was the death of Tony Todd , who voiced the symbiote in  Spider-Man 2  and passed away a year after the game’s release. During the episode, Jeter took time to remember Todd as his “uncle”—a relationship started when Todd called Jeter his nephew—and called it a “very hard time” after his passing. “Me and Yuri [Lowenthal] went to his funeral. I love him to death, and I still wish he was here.” Jeter claims he got to see this Venom game’s opening and emphasized the word “game” to describe it.…
