According to him, the main reason for it not existing was the death of Tony Todd , who voiced the symbiote in Spider-Man 2 and passed away a year after the game’s release. During the episode, Jeter took time to remember Todd as his “uncle”—a relationship started when Todd called Jeter his nephew—and called it a “very hard time” after his passing. “Me and Yuri [Lowenthal] went to his funeral.
