Anne Hathaway paired a hand-painted Michael Kors gown with shimmering Roger Vivier sandals at the 2026 Met Gala red carpet in New York City on Monday. Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue While the dress had a floor-length, flowing skirt that concealed her shoes in some poses, Hathaway wore the Roger Vivier Viv’ Choc Platform Sandals in a lustrous black satin. The sandals are characterized by a platform embellished with crystals that travel all around front of the shoe. The open-toe sandals feature a covered high heel, that measures around 4.7 inches. An ankle strap with mini Viv’ Choc buckle holds the foot in place, while a wide strap wraps over the front of the foot creating a peep-toe like effect.
