Could my heart condition be causing my anxiety? So, I was born with heart defects. I had to have transposition of the great arteries, but did mostly very well for a couple decades, but now I am scheduled to have either a aortic valve replacement or repair in a couple months to fix a 38% leakage in my aortic valve. This has also caused a bit of a rhythm issue as well. In the mean time I have been taking Atenolol, Valsartan, and Jardiance to help this condition. What I want to know is if it is likely or possible that my condition or the medication I take could be causing severe anxiety and overthinking and worrying. I get stuck in these patterns where it’s like I can’t think straight and all I do for several days or even weeks is focus on something and worry about it. It pretty much shuts me down. It’s not always health related things I’m worried about, but sometimes is. I have done some research and seen conflicting information about whether my heart condition could be contributing to this.…
