Blue Finch Films has boarded worldwide sales rights – excluding Benelux – to “ Paradise ,” a Belgian action crime thriller directed by Bob Colaers, ahead of the Cannes Film Market . The film is currently in production and is expected to wrap in late Q3 2026. Kinepolis Film Distribution has taken Belgian rights, with Independent Films covering the Netherlands and Prime Video landing Benelux streaming rights. The story, which draws on the kinetic action of “The Raid” and the “John Wick” franchise, centers on Suleyman, a man who returns home after serving a seven-year prison sentence only to find his apartment block has been seized by drug dealers. When he is drawn into the violence surrounding the complex, his sole focus becomes keeping his mother safe. Popular on Variety Said Boumazoughe, who co-wrote the script and plays the lead role, is known for his work in Rupert Wyatt’s “Desert Warrior.” He is joined in the cast by Clara Cleymans, Achmed Akkabi, Jamal Ben Saddik and Imanuelle Grives.…
