The Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates are two of the biggest rivals in all of baseball. They might not rival the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox when it comes to historic rivalries, but these two National League Central foes tend to get into some heated matchups each time they play. This weekend, the Pirates have completely destroyed the Reds. There's no way around that. Pittsburgh's taken the first two games of the series in blowout fashion. But the Pirates have also forgotten how to win. Reds rookie Sal Stewart came to the plate in the top of the seventh inning, and Pirates reliever Chris Devenski threw the first pitch of the at-bat at Stewart's ribs. In the moment, it was clear that Stewart believed this to be intentional. Devenski took a few steps toward Stewart, as if to challenge him.
