I just got prescribed accutane after one long year of nothing the dermatologist gave me working. The main and really only side effect that scares me, is the intensely dry lips. Anyone with experience, can you tell me if accutane affects your playing? There was a thread on here about a decade ago discussing this but I thought I'd ask for some updated info. Will my range be affected? as I play lead for a bunch of stuff at my highschool. Are there work arounds or any hacks to battle dry lips when playing? Any help would be very appreciated.
