The second golf major of the year is upon us as the PGA Championship will take place this Thursday through Sunday at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Aronimink is hosting the PGA Championship for the first time since 1962. The course, located 13 miles from downtown Philadelphia, has hosted three PGA Tour events over the past 16 years: the AT&T National in 2010 and 2011, and the 2018 BMW Championship. Below, we’ll look at the odds heading into this year’s PGA Championship. Scottie Scheffler (+450) Scheffler has 25 professional wins and is the No. 1 ranked golfer in the world, so we’ll never accuse him of being unable to close … but, it must be said that the 29-year-old hasn’t won a tournament since late January despite finishing in the top 10 five times since. These “bridesmaid not a bride” results have been even more glaring recently as Scheffler has three straight “runner-up” finishes in his last three tournaments.…
