It’s a logistical puzzle with no clear edges, and somehow, you’re the one expected to solve it. School ends, and suddenly, everything that kept your life structured disappears. No more consistent schedules, or built-in childcare, or predictable routines. Structure and routine are suddenly replaced with camps, waitlists, half-day programs, random gaps in coverage, vacation planning, activity planning, meal planning, and somehow still work.
