I have an oil boiler with a central heating loop and hot water system. These both have valves on. My old system was a wireless EPH system which I've left in place other than swapping the simple controller with the wiser one. Hot water works perfectly and I can trigger that through HA with no issue and it switches on/off immediately. The heating however doesn't work through HA. I've pressed the boost button and nothing. I've tried setting the EPH thermostat to 35C and switching it to manual mode. I've also tried various combinations of away mode on/off and seeing away temperature up to 30C to no avail. Manually pressing the heating button on the wiser hub works as expected; light flashes and the valve opens. I have no other Wiser devices, just the hub. I've set up a room and set it to heating channel 1. AI says that this may be a problem and that at least one device is required for the system to work but AI has also given lots of terrible advice.…
