Dezeen Showroom: Italian stone brand Antolini has teamed up with Bang & Olufsen to create an outdoor speaker that explores "sound as an architectural language". The Beosound Haven speaker, unveiled as part of an installation at Milan design week , combines a distinctive spherical speaker made by Bang & Olufsen from precision-engineered aluminium with a monolithic support formed from Antolini's Taj Mahal quartzite . Antolini and Bang & Olufsen debuted the Beosound Haven speaker at Milan design week But ultimately, the speaker will be available in a range of different stones, from turquoise Amazonite to black-and-white Dalmata, chosen for their distinct depth, pattern and tactile quality.
