The 2026 season for Lake George Outfitters and Gymkhana begins May 30 and to kick start the season of fun, excitement, and healthy competition, they are holding a dinner and auction May 1 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park. They will be serving different varieties of chili to eat by itself, or you can have chili dogs or chili stuffed potatoes. There will also be chips and beverages. And it’s free. While dining, the auction will commence and there are many items to bid on including a variety of African mounts, framed artwork, antiques, shooting accessories, knives, metal artwork, snowshoes, western apparel, wood carvings and much more. “We wouldn’t be able to offer the Gymkhana without the generosity of our donors and proceeds from this auction,” said April Achord, president of Lake George Outfitters and Gymkhana.
