Two men have been arrested following a shooting that injured a child and a woman in North Las Vegas on Thursday, police said Friday. Jesus Lemus Pacheco and Adrian Hernandez were taken into custody in connection with the shooting, which happened at a business on East Craig Road near North 5th Street just after 12 p.m. Thursday, the North Las Vegas Police Department said in a news release. According to police, Hernandez and Pacheco approached a juvenile in an attempt to rob him of a chain. One of the two suspects tried to forcibly take the chain, which led to a physical fight, police said. One of the suspects — police didn’t make clear in the email — then fired multiple rounds from a firearm, striking the boy and a nearby woman. Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
