So, here are 10 great targets to get you started tonight. And because springtime for Northern Hemisphere amateur astronomers means it’s also galaxy season, half the objects I’ve chosen are galaxies. The Polaris Engagement Ring has as its highlight the North Star (Alpha [α] Ursae Minoris). This asterism is easier to outline through binoculars because you won’t see many of the faint stars.
