Dear Pay Dirt, My wife and I met two other couples, “Rob and Carla” along with “Jay and Lea” almost 30 years ago at a card club sponsored by our church. The card club fizzled out, and we no longer attend that church together, but we continued to meet and play cards and games at each other’s houses about once a month. Outside of getting together to play cards, our lives never overlapped that much. We knew the basic facts about them, where they originally came from, basic family info (number of siblings), and that families were solid middle class, blue collar.
