An anagram is a word or phrase, called the subject, that is formed by changing the order of the letters in another word or phrase. It is a kind of word play. Incorporating or removing delimiters (e.g. spaces), punctuation elements (e.g., commas, colons, periods, accents, aphostrophes), and abbreviations can give a boost to the game.

For some serious players, the goal is to produce anagrams that reflect or comment on their subject. Surprisingly, the name of many famous people lead to interesting anagrams.
