A Statistical Approach to Automated Generation of Totem-like Patterns by Drawing Straight Lines
If something is part random and part deterministic, it’s called a statistical or probabilistic relationship.
In continuation of my previous posts, I have updated my program to generate totem-like patterns using a statistical approach. Here are some sample outputs.
These were created by drawing straight lines only. Because of the random component, each piece of art work is unique!
As you observe the images, you may notice variations based on factors such as viewing distance or the lighting conditions in the room. View the images by changing your viewing distance or the lighting in your room.
Do you see shapes resembling smoke, animals, faces, galaxies, or something else entirely?
