I am only 3 days in and I already feel like I am going to fail. This is so hard. How do you stay motivated? 48 year old male. 6'3" 227lbs as of Sunday start. I have cardiomyopathy and severe COPD so my exercise is limited to a recumbent bike and I cannot let my heart rate go over 130bpm per my cardiologist. I do two 30 minute sessions a day and only burn about 120 calories per. The exercise is not the hard part but the calorie count is. How can you all keep at this? I am trying to stay at 1,800 calories per day and it is already so hard. The calories add up so fast. About 3 months ago I put a major shift in my diet. Went from frozen pizza and other frozen foods and canned chili and other processed crap to chicken breast and brown rice and whole grain pasta. I didn't lose any weight. Turns out my portions were way off. I just never realized. I use my fitness pal and I have a food scale and wow. You don't get much food on the plate for the calories. 2 ounces of pasta is 200 calories.…
