Death Cab for Cutie have released a new single, “Punching the Flowers,” the second from their forthcoming album I Built You a Tower . Alongside the new song, the band put out a video. Watch it below. On the track, singer Benjamin Gibbard spins the real experience of watching a toddler throwing a tantrum and punching flowers into a metaphor for a man who has something beautiful and sees it as a frustrating cage.
