Oura now tracks how birth control affects sleep and recovery, and offers a new tool to measure menopause's impact on daily life. For most of women's hormonal lives — through contraception, perimenopause, menopause — the standard of care has amounted to vague reassurance and generic symptom trackers. Oura is targeting that gap with two new features for its smart rings : Hormonal Birth Control support, which adapts its existing Cycle Insights for women using pills, patches, IUDs, implants and other hormonal methods; and Menopause Insights, which introduces a proprietary clinical questionnaire called the Menopause Impact Scale.
