I’m currently in the process of sampling kicks from tracks that I like in order to use them in my own productions. However, the problem that I’m running into is that only the mids to lows seem to be being exported. For example, the kick I’m currently sampling has a hi hat on top. However when I’m exporting it, I can hear the mid’y transient click and the sub tail from the kick, however the hi hat is missing completely. I’ve tried seeing if it is a sample rate issue, increasing or lowering the sample rate, but this seems to have no impact and I’m left with the same issue. I’ve tried dragging the song into an audio channel, shortening it to 1/4 and exporting that and I can hear the hi hat (along with the synths and other bits and pieces that I’d got rid of through sampling). I’m at a loss. Anyone have any ideas?…
