I know decanting is controversial but I genuinely think it is a zero-waste friendly option for many people and I always repurpose my old jars. So far this past year I’ve dealt with mice and red ants that f****** bite you. All of those times I had to throw away bags of brand new foods that the mice had chewed on, or bags of sealed food that the ants got into 😑 I had decanted a few items before and I was happy that I got to save those items from getting contaminated. I think we’ve sealed off most of our kitchen to prevent these things from happening again, but that’s what we thought the first time and I don’t want to take that risk again. Side note, they can be ✨aesthetic✨ here is my Mexican self using beans and jamaica as decor. submitted by /u/tequilaspit [link] [comments]
