"He grew up raised by a very distant guardian who wasn't very affectionate. He's incredible at affection, but when I'm upset, he doesn't know how to comfort me because he never received it growing up. While I understand it and try to help him learn, it can be frustrating when I'm very upset about something, and he just sits there, silent, staring at the floor.
