Is polyester activewear actually bad for your health or is it overblown? Ive been super active my whole life and have pretty much lived in Nike gear. Recently upgraded to Lululemon and honestly the difference in quality is night and day. So now I'm down the rabbit hole. Started looking into natural fiber brands that use merino wool for activewear. But the more I research, the more I notice that a lot of the "polyester is toxic" messaging comes from brands that are literally selling you the alternative. Hard to know what's genuine concern vs marketing. From what I can find, the science isn't super conclusive that wearing polyester activewear poses a meaningful health risk.…
