BI's Amanda Hoover created an AI bot trained on her body of work to see if it could do her job. The experiment was an eye-opener , but it didn't leave her worried about losing her job to AI. To be clear, this isn't one of those run-of-the-mill "ChatGPT wrote this story" bits that were everywhere in 2023. When Amanda says she had AI do her job, she means it. From conducting interviews with a voice agent to trying to write the story to dealing with an editor, "Amanda Bot" did it all.
