Scottie Scheffler slams 'absurd' PGA Championship pin positions

Scottie Scheffler has seen plenty of difficult setups during his time on the PGA Tour. But even the world’s top-ranked golfer was taken aback by what he saw through two rounds at Aronimink Golf Club during the PGA Championship. After shooting 1-over par to sit at 2 under heading into Saturday’s play, Scheffler ripped the pin locations after his round Friday, comparing them to some of the toughest courses in professional golf.  “Most of the pins today were kind of absurd,” Scheffler said during his post-round news conference. “I was a bit surprised how far they pushed a lot of these pin locations.” Scottie Scheffler wasn’t a big fan of the pin locations on Friday.
