I love a good solo indie dev story, especially when there’s some comedy involved. Introducing Game Quest: The Backlog Battler . Are you like me, someone who dabbles in Steam sales and bundles and then never looks at some games ever again, let alone downloads, plays, and finishes them? Then this upcoming indie may be up your alley, or just your worst nightmare. Game Quest: The Backlog Battler lets you battle your backlog of games, which is cute enough as it is. But the devil here is in the details, in that “the more you paid” for these games, “the more damage they will do to you (just like in real life),” the description reads. “Fight in an arena surrounded by your well-played spectator games, while the immortal royalty (the games you have never played) lord over you at the end of the arena,” solo dev Nic Taylor described on the game’s Steam page.…
