E.J. Warner, the son of Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, has been invited to Broncos rookie minicamp this weekend as a tryout player. He is an undrafted rookie from Fresno State. “I’m excited,” Kurt Warner told The Denver Gazette on Wednesday. “Like so many of these other kids coming out of college, he’s just trying to find an opportunity to show people that they can perform at the NFL level.” Denver’s rookie minicamp runs Friday through Sunday. Fresno State quarterback E.J. Warner (13) in the first half of the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl NCAA college football game against Miami (Ohio), Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, in Tucson, Ariz. E.J. Warner played in college at Temple, Rice and Fresno State. He threw for 2,020 yards with 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season for the Bulldogs. Kurt Warner went undrafted out of Northern Iowa before embarking on a star NFL career from 1998-2009 with the St. Louis Rams, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017.…
