Sending a bouquet of flowers often marks life’s meaningful moments – from joy and celebration to comfort and sorrow, flowers are symbols of love and thought from one person to another. Though they’ve become fairly commonplace, letterbox flowers are relatively new in the floristry world. It was more than a decade ago when Bloom & Wild co-founders Aron Gelbard and Ben Stanway devised the idea to send floral stems in letterbox-friendly packages, meaning the recipient didn’t need to be at home to receive their floral gift . It was the start of the online floristry boom, making it much easier to send blooms to loved ones.
