You’ve probably heard the theory before – it’s that the octopus is not from earth. They’re aliens. They are so different from anything else on this planet, that they must have come from a different place altogether. The theory is called panspermia . Anyway, scientists discovered a new species of octopus off the coast of the Galapagos Islands, which according to that theory, would make it a new alien species. And this one is incredibly cute, like a Pixar cartoon or a stuffed animal.
