I've played a bit of terraria many years ago but never did anything much more than kill the eye of cthulu. Just how much pain am I in for if I am playing classic character on master mode? Is this a horrible idea for a newish player? Honestly I don't mind a grind and frustration, but requiring meta knowledge could be a problem. I killed the eye, slime, devourer, and bee so far without much problem but I haven't gotten skeletron below 80%. I feel like I'm maxxed out in power with full meteorite armor, volcano sword and a space gun

It's honestly been a lot of fun exploring, giving materials to the guide to learn recipes and slowly get stronger, but I'm already getting totally destroyed and presumably it only gets much worse from here...
