I resigned today from a District that I dearly loved. Still love it. I made such great memories and lifelong friendships. But the pay sucked! After working there for 12 years, with a Masters and working on my Specialist, after taxes and insurances…my take home pay is $2900 a MONTH! A month! That is nothing compared to the work I do. I haven’t signed my contract yet but I got a job a District away making a lot more money.

Don’t know why I posted, I guess I needed people to let me know that I’m doing the right thing.
