Howdy! So I’m yet to nomad but my flight is booked for July to Kuala Lumpur and then I’ll probably do the remainder of the year in Thailand after my tourist visa runs out. Whenever I see footage of coworking spaces, it’s always headphones on, laptop, working. Which obviously makes sense. But I’ve just been wondering, are they actually a good place to meet people or not? I’m somewhat introverted and my main form of socialising (jiu jitsu) has been taken away due to knee surgery, putting me out until 2027 at least. I’ve found a friendly chess social club I’ll give a try as well but other than these options, I’m semi worried about finding myself being rather lonely.
