Final Fantasy XIV fans are eating good today, as Square Enix is hosting the MMORPG’s annual Fan Festival in Anaheim where it’s announcing a bunch of new stuff coming to the game. The headliners include the new Evercold expansion coming in January, and a crossover raid based on the iconic mech anime Neon Genesis Evangelion . There are also some small changes coming to things like the character creation suite. One thing we won’t be getting, though, is sliders to give our Warriors of Light a fat ass. Not yet, at least. During the convention’s presentation, director Naoki Yoshida took the stage to talk about the future of Final Fantasy XIV , and one of his slides laid out a few changes to the character creator, including color selectors for hair, eyes, and skin tone, face paint layering, and improved customization for eyes and lips.…
