Heyo. I'm self taught when it come to back country camping and one thing I have yet to fully feel comfortable with is managing my period. I've always just used applicator-less tampons and thrown the used ones in a ziplock bag for later disposal (this goes with the food at night in bear country, yummy) but is there a better way? Never used a cup in general but the idea of a cup seems a bit sketchy and unhygienic away from a regular source of water for sanitizing. Thanks in advance for any tips and experiences you share! submitted by /u/BonafideDame [link] [comments]
