ANAHEIM, Calif. — Mitch Marner recorded the first playoff hat trick of his career, and the Vegas Golden Knights cruised to a 6-2 win in Game 3 of their second-round series against the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Friday. Marner finished with four points, and goaltender Carter Hart made 30 saves. The Knights lead the best-of-seven series 2-1. Game 4 is at Honda Center on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.. Shea Theodore scored 1:06 into the game, and Brayden McNabb added a shorthanded goal to give the Knights a 2-0 lead at 12:13 of the first. Marner added his first of three unanswered goals with a power-play tally with 4.6 seconds left in the period. He scored at 9:19 and 17:56 to record the natural hat trick. Marner leads the NHL with six goals goals and 13 points in the playoffs. Captain Mark Stone left late in the first period with a lower-body injury.
