Attorney rescheduled, so I canceled. Now they want to charge me. Do I owe this attorney? I called a law office that I had positively done business with in the past to ask if they offered notary services. A paralegal picked up my call to confirm that they do offer notary services for $15. The paralegal asked me to email my forms to the paralegal and attorney, so that they could look into it before the in-person meeting they scheduled for me on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the paralegal emails me that the attorney and notary are unavailable and they are rescheduling me for Thursday. I call the office shortly after to let them know to cancel the appointment since I figured I’d just go anywhere else, that way I can get it over with and not call off work tomorrow.
