A U.S. company is betting that Japanese investors will want to buy into a land bank that controls about 360 square kilometers of property in the United States, from California to southern Florida.

“There's been a huge demand for alternative real estate investments,” said James Buchanan, managing director, South Asia, Walton Global. 

Scottsdale, Arizona-headquartered Walton started offering its U.S. My Home Fund in the Japanese market in April.
