It may not speak to everyone and that’s okay. It started privately, with questions that I couldn’t ignore. Not the kind you brush off and move on from, but the kind that lingers. The kind that follow you into silence and don’t leave. At some point, I followed a set of instructions for seven days. I didn’t think much of it at the time. I assumed life would return to normal once it was over. It didn’t. Seven days turned into seven weeks. Then months. In many ways, it never really ended. What happened during that time is difficult to explain without it sounding extreme. This experience didn’t just change me; it dismantled me. It stripped away the foundations I had built my identity on and replaced them with something unfamiliar. New ways of seeing. New ways of questioning.…
