The San Diego Padres beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-1, on Wednesday evening despite trailing, 1-0, heading into the ninth inning. The Friars improved to 25-17 on the year thanks to a Gavin Sheets three-run home run to cap off an electric two-out rally in the top of the ninth.
