Hi everyone,
Back again after getting my roof finally redone two weeks ago. Just having one major issue: the bathroom vent is no longer pulling air. I decided to give it a look over and after pulling the ducts off both the fan and hole in the ceiling that the vent is horribly off center. I can barely fit my hands through to lift what I assume is a weak flap (left side of my photo) to keep any bugs or animals out when not venting, which leads me to believe that the air from the bathroom exhaust isn't properly pushing up on the vent since it doesn't have the correct positioning.
I originally thought it was debris inside the duct, because the fan went from working to just pulling nothing after the roof replacement. How big of a screw up is this? When I pulled away the duct there was moisture on the vent cap itself (see photos) which seems like it should be concerning but I don't know enough about how these work to really have a say.
TIA!
