Federal prosecutors this week indicted three men after a delivery truck with more than $1 million of Apple products was hijacked earlier this year. In a press release , the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York says that three men (Alan Christhofer Cedeno-Ferrer, Michael Mejia-Nunez, and Ennait Alexis Sirett-Padilla) hijacked a delivery truck parked outside the Apple Store at the Americana Manhasset mall in New York. The situation took place at approximately 8:00 a.m. on January 3, 2026. Two workers inside the truck were preparing to deliver $1.2 million worth of MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and more to the store that morning. Three men approached the delivery workers armed with handguns, forced one of the workers into the back of the delivery truck and zip tied his hands. They ordered the other victim into the driver’s seat to drive the truck.…
