Two Los Angeles universities have landed at the very top of a new national ranking measuring the best student life experiences in America. The University of Southern California claimed the No. 1 spot in the nation, while  University of California, Los Angeles , it’s rival, ranked third overall, according to Niche’s 2026 rankings for colleges with the best student life. The rankings evaluated universities based on factors including nightlife, athletics, campus quality , diversity, safety and graduation rates.
