Claude Lemieux, a four-time Stanley Cup champion who skated a fine line between being a clutch scorer and agitator, has died. He was 60.

The NHL Alumni Association announced the news Thursday but did not disclose a cause or date of death.

Multiple media outlets, however, reported that the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Lemieux committed suicide around 3:23 a.m. at a furniture store that Lemieux and his wife owned in ‌Lake Park, ‌Florida. Local television station WPBF-25 said Lemieux’s son discovered the hanging body.
