Okay lads and ladies,I have a class B license,plain jane,no endorsements. Im 23 going 24 in a couple months,and i am struggling to find a job. Everyone wants you to have 3-5yrs experience,garbage truck companies included,or the insurance wants you to be at least 25. For reference I live on the dirty south. Im beyond stressed out,this makes month 7 of being unemployed. No one will even hire me as a helper as they "dont need those positions filled at this time". Im at a wits end,and considering throwing in the towel and giving up the idea of ever driving trucks. Is anyone else struggling to find a job rn? And for those employed was it this difficult securing your first trucking/helper job?
